John runs the FIMTRAC® division of RTS Group, having set it up in 2000, before it came into the RTS fold in 2009. FIMTRAC® is our finance and insurance arm, whose learning and development programmes help dealerships increase finance penetration at point of sale, enabling them to better manage the trade cycle process. John travels the Globe, with FIMTRAC® clients based in China, South Africa, Asia, Europe and the Middle East.
Starting his working life as a paint sprayer for British Leyland, John went into the Army for four years, after which he began working in dealerships, progressing to business manager. He then joined Ford Credit, where he stayed for a decade before moving into training, then, with others, setting up FIMTRAC®.
John, who is married with three children, is a life-long Sunderland fan and has been going to their games since he was a youngster. He describes himself as “persistent”, which makes him the perfect advocate for FIMTRAC® solutions.
